If you're on the USA Canada and Mexico Extreme Plan and you run out of data, you can add more, at a cost of $14 for each additional 1GB.  You can add a maximum of 3GB at any one time (but you can keep adding extra 3GB blocks once you use them up).




Please note that extra data cannot be added to the USA Max Plan (this was already clearly stated to you on our website and in the set-up instructions).  Also, you cannot add data to the USA Saver Plan. If you purchase extra data for the USA Max Plan or USA Saver Plan, your order will be cancelled and refunded.  If you have run out of data on the USA Max Plan, or you are on the USA Saver Plan and want data, you'll need to purchase the USA Max Plan (2GB) or the USA Canada and Mexico Extreme Plan (5GB).  Click here to read how to purchase these plans.




Before purchasing extra data for the USA Canada and Mexico Extreme Plan you MUST first check your remaining data balance by dialling *777*3# on your phone and then pressing call/dial.  Your remaining data balance will be displayed on your phone. (If you purchased extra data in the original purchase of your sim card, you probably don't to add extra data - please first check your total remaining data balance).   





Please also note the following information:




1. Your USA Extreme Plan must still be active to purchase extra data.  This means that if your USA Extreme Plan has expired (after 30 days) you cannot just add extra data, and you'll need to renew your USA Extreme Plan.  Click here to read about how to renew your USA Extreme Plan.




2. Any extra data you purchase will expire on the same date as your USA Extreme Plan.  For example, if you purchase extra data on day 20 of your trip, then the extra data will expire on day 30 (the same day that your USA Extreme Plan expires).




3. It may take up to 8 hours for the extra data to be added.  So don't wait until your data is all used up.





 


To add extra data follow the steps below:


 


(a) Click here to go to our recharge portal.  


 


(b) At Step 1: Enter your USA mobile number.


 


(c) At Step 2: Do NOT select a plan, or you will be charged again for your plan (or if your USA Extreme Plan has expired then you can select this plan again).  




(d) At Step 4: Choose one or multiple data packs from the drop down menu.


 


(e) Then scroll to the bottom, enter your details and then proceed to add to cart and check out.




Data may take several hours to be added to your account and please note that data purchased between 4am to 2pm (Los Angeles time) or between 7am to 5pm (New York time) will not be processed until after 3pm (Los Angeles time) or after 6pm (New York time).
